For the last test Q.#9 shouldn’t the answer be ‘castani’?
Hi Dave, in this case it’s “castano” because it’s followed by “scuro”. It’s as if we were saying “di colore castano scuro”. The same thing happens when you find “chiaro”, then we say “castano chiaro” (=di colore castano chiaro). In all other cases we say “castani”: Lei ha i capelli castani.
