Listen and repeat.
If we agree with a previous statement we use personal pronouns after the words anche or pure:
– Leggo spesso romanzi (I often read novels)
– Anche io / Pure io (So do I)
If the previous sentence is negative, though, we need to use the words neanche, neppure or nemmeno:
– Non leggo spesso romanzi (I don’t read novels often)
– Neanche io / Neppure io / Nemmeno io (Neither do I)

Expressing disagreement
Listen and repeat.
If we disagree with a previous statement we use personal pronouns before such adverbs as invece, purtroppo, no:
– Leggo spesso romanzi (I often read novels)
– Io invece non leggo spesso (I, on the contrary, don’t read often)
– Io invece no (I don’t, instead)
– Io no (I don’t)
and if the previous sentence is negative we can reply:
– Non leggo spesso romanzi (I don’t read novels often)
– Io invece leggo spesso (I, on the contrary, read often)
– Io invece sì (I do, instead)
– Io sì (I do)
Discorda con le seguenti affermazioni come nell’esempio:
Guardo spesso la TV → Io no oppure Io invece no oppure Io purtroppo no
Disagree with the following statements like in the example:
Guardo spesso la TV → Io no or Io invece no or Io purtroppo no
