hello. My computer does not have accents so whenever I write the words like cosi cosi for example it takes it as a wrong answer :/ I am writing in a notebook as well in order to mindfully spell the word correctly. Maybe some other people have the same problem accessing accents
Hi Andrea, it’s a good idea to write also in a notebook, because you can practice your spelling in Italian.
– Anyway, if you have a Mac, all you need to do is to hold down a letter on your keyboard to pull up a menu of accented versions of that same letter and choose the correct one.
– On a Windows computer, it’s a bit more complicated: press and hold Ctrl + Grave Accent (`) (the key to the left of 1 on your keyboard), then release and type the desired vowel (a, e, i, o, or u). This creates à, è, ì, ò, ù. Press and hold Ctrl + Acute Accent (‘) (the key to the right of the semicolon on your keyboard), then release and type the desired vowel. This creates á, é, í, ó, ú.
I hope this can help you 🙂
